Banana Milkshake (Smoothie)
(Makes 1 serving)
Sometimes I half this if I want a light afternoon snack!
1 banana, cut into bite size
pieces and put in the freezer for 4 hours or overnight
1 cup vanilla-flavored soy
milk, or enough to barely cover the bananas in a blender
1 teaspoon cinnamon (or more
to taste)
sugar to taste (optional - I
often omit if the bananas are ripe and sweet)
1. Take the frozen
banana pieces and put them into a blender.
2. Pour in enough milk
to barely cover them.
3. Add the cinnamon and
sugar (if using).
4. Blend on low for
approx. 1 minute or until everything is blended.
